Mr. Ellis Calvin Armstrong is survived by his wife Gwen Armstrong, three daughters; Rhonda Underwood of Connecticut, Asantea Armstrong of Fort Bliss, Texas; Gwendolyn Bowden of Rockingham,Nc, one son Deprice Bowden of Hamlet,Nc, Mother Doretha Armstrong of Troy,Nc; three grandsons Nasir Lawrence Underwood, Abdul Jalil Barr,and Macario Mccloud. one granddaughter, Tahira Jemella Barr. four sisters; Nellie Armstrong(Ricky) of Jackson Springs, Nc, Darthelia Ingram(Jimmy) of Candor,Nc, Annie Cook of Candor,Nc, and Betty Nicholson of Troy,Nc. four brothers; Billy Armstrong(Paulette) of Ellerbe,Nc, Larry Armstrong of Alabama, James Armstrong(Lorene) of Phoenix City, Alabama and Allen Armstrong, of Candor,NC.
