Ms.Joyce Martin Ellerbe,75 of Rockingham, North Carolina transition on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Richmond County Hospice Haven.

Ms. Joyce Martin Ellerbe worked as a dedicated Teacher Assistant and Bus Driver before becoming a second grade teacher, retiring after 30 years. She served in the after-school tutorial program for 20 years of those years. in addition to teaching, Joyce worked at Food King, Rockingham and Ellerbe locations for 35 years.

Ms. Joyce is survived by her brother Nathan Martin, Jr. a Niece Deanna Legrande, and a special cousin Allison D. Jackson and a host of relatives and friends.
