Mrs. Katie Frances Powell 79, of Dry Creek Community passed away Friday, June 23,2023 at Autumn Care Nursing and Rehab of Biscoe, North Carolina.

Mrs. Katie Frances Powell was preceded in death by her husband Hoover A. Powell, Sr. son Hoover A Powell Jr.; sister Billie Ruth McBride and brother Scarboro Stanback Jr.

Mrs. Katie is survive by one son Mr. Rodney {Christy} Powell of Atlanta, GA; one daughter Ms. Carolyn Powell Harrington of Charlotte, Nc; one brother Mr. George Collins Jr. of the home.
