Mr. Richard "J.R." McDonald 65, of Ellerbe, Nc passed away Monday, July 24, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Richard is survived by two sons James McDonald of Rockingham, Nc and Richard(Rose) McDonald of Charleston, Sc;  one daughter; Brandy McDonald of Rockingham, Nc. step-mother Ann McDonald of Ellerbe, Nc. four brothers William McDonald (Star) of Las Vegas, NV, Jerry McDonald, Ricardo McDonald(Rhonda) of Rockingham, Nc and Eddie Allen McDonald of Baltimore, Md; seven sisters Barbara Moton(Dameon) of Ellerbe, Nc, Janet Tillman of Rockingham, Nc, Sandra Bettis of Rockingham, Nc Coretta Hunter of Durham, Nc, Takisha(Jermaine)Little of Mt.Gilead, Nc, Easter McDonald of Ellerbe, Nc and Eunice Robinson(Tony) of Ellerbe, Nc. and a host of aunts, uncles, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
